The validity is generally 6 months or 1 year, with multiple entries, and each stay is subject to visa regulations, not exceeding 59 days. When applying for a multiple entry tourist visa, in addition to the basic tourist visa materials, it may also be necessary to provide a detailed travel plan explaining the necessity of multiple entries and exits, proof of financial capability (such as bank deposit certificates, income certificates, etc.) to demonstrate sufficient funds to support expenses during the stay in the Philippines and the need for frequent travel.

Business Visa 

Single Entry Business Visa:For individuals traveling to the Philippines for business purposes, such as attending business meetings, negotiations, market research, etc. The validity is usually 3 months, single entry, with a maximum stay of 59 days. Application materials include an invitation letter from a Philippine company or institution (clearly stating the inviting unit's information, the invitee's name, passport number, purpose of visit, duration of visit, etc.), a copy of the business license of the applicant's company, a dispatch letter (stating the applicant's position, purpose of visit to the Philippines, duration of stay, etc.), a valid passport, passport photos, visa application form, and proof of personal and company financial status.

Multiple Entry Business Visa:Applicable for individuals with a long-term need for frequent business interactions. The validity is generally 6 months or 1 year, with multiple entries, and each stay is a maximum of 59 days. Applying for this type of visa requires providing more detailed business cooperation plans, long-term business itinerary arrangements, strong invitations and guarantees from Philippine partners, and proof of financial capability to show the ability to cover business activity expenses during the stay in the Philippines.

Work Visa

9 (g) Work Visa:This is the most common type of work visa in the Philippines, issued to foreign nationals with formal employment in the Philippines. First, the Philippine employer needs to apply for a Foreign Employment Permit (AEP) from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI). After obtaining permission, they can apply for a 9 (g) visa for the employee. For the applicant, materials required include a valid passport, labor contract, a copy of the Philippine company's business license, a copy of the AEP, educational certificates, proof of work experience, etc. The 9 (g) visa is usually valid for 1 - 3 years, depending on the duration of the work contract, and allows legal work and residence in the Philippines.

Special Work Permit (SWP):Mainly used for temporary work situations, such as short-term projects, urgent work tasks, etc. The validity is relatively short, generally within 3 months, and can be extended based on actual work needs. Student Visa

Student Visa (9 (f) Visa):Issued to full-time students admitted by Philippine schools (including universities, colleges, language schools, and other formal educational institutions). Students must first obtain an admission notice from a Philippine school, and then the school will assist the student in applying for a visa with the Bureau of Immigration. When applying, it is necessary to provide proof of family relationship (such as marriage certificate, birth certificate, household registration book, etc.), identification of relatives in the Philippines (such as Philippine ID, work permit, student ID, etc.), an invitation letter (stating the relationship between the inviter and the invitee, purpose of visit, duration of stay, etc.), as well as the applicant's valid passport, passport photos, visa application form, and other materials.

Multiple Entry Family Visit Visa:Applicable for those who need to visit relatives in the Philippines multiple times within the validity period. The validity is generally 6 months or 1 year, with multiple entries, and each stay is a maximum of 59 days. In addition to the basic family visit visa materials, more substantial reasons for the necessity of multiple visits need to be provided, such as the relative's health condition, special family events, etc.

Transit Visa

Transit Visa (T - Visa):Applicable for travelers transiting through the Philippines to a third country, with a short stay in the Philippines. The validity is determined based on specific circumstances, generally 3 - 7 days, allowing transit at designated ports. When applying, it is necessary to provide a valid ticket to the third country, a valid passport, visa application form, and other materials. Typically processed at international airports and other transit ports in the Philippines, travelers need to present a complete travel plan to border inspection personnel, including arrival and departure flight information from the Philippines and tickets and visas (if required) for the third country.
