Tourist Visa

Business Visa

Work Visa
Work Visa (DN): issued to foreigners who have a formal job in Vietnam. Firstly, Vietnamese employers need to apply for a labor permit from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), and after obtaining the permit, apply for a work visa for the employee from the Vietnam Immigration Department. For applicants, they need to provide documents such as a valid passport, employment contract, a copy of the business license of the Vietnamese company, a copy of the labor permit, academic certificates, and proof of work experience. The validity period of the work visa depends on the duration of the work contract, up to two years, and allows you to work and stay legally in Vietnam.
Expert Work Visa (LD): for foreigners working in Vietnam as experts, technical consultants and other senior professionals. Student Visa (Student Visa)
Student Visa (DH): is issued to full-time students who have been admitted to a Vietnamese school (including universities, colleges, language schools and other formal educational institutions). Students must first obtain a letter of acceptance from the Vietnamese school, and then the school will assist the student in applying for a visa from the Vietnam Immigration Department. Application materials include a valid passport, admission letter, proof of payment of tuition fees, proof of financial guarantee (proof of sufficient funds to pay tuition fees and living expenses), student's academic certificates, transcripts, photos, and visa application form. The validity of the visa depends on the length of the study program, which usually coincides with the duration of the study program, and allows the student to study and stay legally in Vietnam.
Family visit visa
Three-month single family visit visa: It is mainly used to visit relatives, such as spouse, parents, children, etc., who are residing in Vietnam (including working, studying and other long-term residence situations). It is valid for three months, single entry, and the duration of stay in Vietnam is usually 30-90 days. Transit Visa
24 - 72 hours transit visa: for travelers going to a third country via Vietnam with transit or short stay in Vietnam. To apply for the visa, you need to provide a valid air ticket to the third country, a valid passport, and a visa application form. Tourist Visa

Multiple Tourist Visa: There are one-year and two-year multiple tourist visas. Visa on Arrival (VOA)
Applicable to citizens of some countries (including Chinese nationals) and can be applied for at designated airports or land ports of entry upon arrival in Thailand. It is categorized into ordinary visa on arrival and electronic visa on arrival (e-VOA).
Ordinary Visa on Arrival: Valid for 15 days, single entry, mainly for tourism purposes. Upon entry, a passport valid for at least 6 months, a completed Visa on Arrival application form, a 2-inch color photo, proof of round-trip air ticket booking, proof of hotel booking or address of accommodation during the period of stay in Thailand, and proof of sufficient funds to support the trip in the form of cash or foreign currency equivalent of not less than 10,000 baht for an individual (not less than 20,000 baht for a family) are required.
Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA): can be applied for online through the official website of the Thai Immigration Department or through designated mobile apps prior to travel. Valid for 15 days, single entry, for tourism purposes. To apply, you need to fill in your personal information online, upload your passport information page, round-trip air ticket itinerary, hotel booking list and other information, and pay the corresponding handling fee. After approval, you will receive an electronic visa-on-arrival approval letter, print it out and present it together with other documents when you enter the country.
Transit Visa
One-word Transit Visa: For travelers going to a third country via Thailand and staying in Thailand for a short period of time. It is valid for 3 months for a single entry with a stay of no more than 30 days. Application documents include a passport valid for at least 6 months, a valid air ticket to a third country, a visa application form, and a 2-inch photo.
Business Visa
Single Entry Business Visa: Used for those who are traveling to Thailand for business purposes, such as attending business meetings, business negotiations, market visits, etc. The validity period is 3 months. It is valid for 3 months for a single entry, and the period of stay is usually less than 90 days. Application materials include invitation letter from the Thai company or organization (containing details of the inviting organization, name of the invitee, passport number, purpose of visit, duration of visit, etc.), a copy of the business license of the applicant's company, a letter of dispatch (stating the applicant's position, purpose of visit to Thailand, duration of stay, etc.), a passport with a validity period of not less than 6 months, a visa application form, and a photo.
Multiple Business Visa: There are three-month and one-year multiple business visas. The three-month multiple business visa is valid for three months with multiple entries and each stay does not exceed 90 days; the one-year multiple business visa is valid for one year with multiple entries and each stay does not exceed 90 days. Work Visa
Combination of Work Permit and Work Visa: First, the Thai employer needs to apply for a Work Permit for the foreign employee from the Thai Ministry of Labor. After obtaining the Work Permit, the employee then applies for a Work Visa from the Thai Immigration Department with this permit and other documents (e.g. passport with a validity of not less than 6 months, photographs, visa application form, etc.). The validity of the work visa varies depending on the duration of the work contract, usually 1-3 years, and allows the employee to legally work and reside in Thailand.
Non-Immigrant Visa - Type O (Family and Friends Visa)
